was born in Kyoto in 1948.
In 1968 he entered National University of Fine Art (Tokyo Geidai).
He published the follwing four art books;
His drawing collection entitled [Fuuryoku no Gakuha]
was published in 1988.
In1999,his work appeared again in Buren's Collection of Color Copper Engraving [Vision of Water]
Ryu Kadosaka was responsible for the Asahi Newspaper novel
illustration for [Hyakunen no Yogen ] in 2000.
In 2003, he illustrated the novel [Ikkakujyu]
written by Koike Mariko
『Ryu KADOSAKA Drawing Works』was published in 2006.

From Ryu Kadosaka:
All of my works are made up with lines.
I use tools with pointed tips like pencils, round pens, Japanese
brushes and burins.
When working, I empty my mind trying to avoid any interpretation
about the object that sits in front of me.
"To draw the object as it presents itself" is my ideal.
